DirectVobSub (VSFilterMod) 2.5.2.7 reviews
i found a bug in the application when using the combination of windows media player and extended screen to 4:3 from (General tap) choices... the text appears in the middle of the screen and nut in the bottom of the screen no matter how you try to change its position the (override placement ) choice in this matter,is not working as proper as it should.
Hey Richard I am trying to make it work but with no success...
That would be greatest feature along with the resolution/quality change.
This is my problem too. works fine with mkv and video clip files, but not with mp4 files, anyone who is genius enough to solve this problem?
move the subs files to the same directory as the movie and rename to match the movie filename
Moving it to the same file and renaming as the movie filename does not work for me.. Also, I cant find subresync.exe
i already did that, moving the sub files to the same directory as the movie and rename to match the movie, still doesnt work

reinstall windows, and check subtitle not to be saved as Unicode. I also had that problem and the subtitles turned out to be unicode. (open subtitle in notepad and select ansi when in saveas dialog:p
i used to play avi files and get yellow color when watching movies ... and this is not the first version to have this issue .. to shame that no one noticed that or mentioned that to you .. but i thought many said this earlier ... or only me having this problem .. pleas help me if i am the only one facing such issue
Thanks to the developers!
This works fine with Windows Media Player 12 as long as the seek bar isnt used. If I skip ahead or back the subtitles become unsynchronized. The subtitles are displayed as though the portion of the video I just skipped to is the beginning of the clip and the timing is thrown off.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, how were you able to correct it? Thanks.
had the same problem, which is barely mentioned anywhere (?). this should get the work

tool location: *Program Files/Win7codecs/Tools/Settings32.
exe setting (one solution): Reset All (in case you changed s.th.) (tab)config VobSub Subtitles (so that you can change text style and position e.g.)

There are no options in PowerDvd11 for subs - i.e to change font size, color or change the display position for e.g. of a .srt file.
Is there any way to get Directvobsub to work with PowerDvd 11 or if not currently possible, could it be made compatible with PowerDvd 11 in a future release?
Thank you.
Win7 x64 uses as default the WMP x86. That's why it didn't work. Also, you can't set WMP x64 as default. A simple solution is to create a shortcut ( of the x64 ) on your SuperBar and when you want to see a movie or something, open the x64 from the shortcut and the files through WMP.
Both versions working perfectly.
Anyway, if you have a problem with Win 7 64 bit, try loading the non-64 bit version.
