DumpHD 0.61
DumpHD is based on BackupHDDVD and it allows you to obtain perfect backups of DVDs and Blu-rays protected with AACS (Advanced Access Content System).
It is written in Java and it needs JRE 1.6 or later. Any platform that supports Java should support this program as well.
The developers of DumpHD recommend using the Server VM, since the Client VM affects performance significantly.
DumpHD follows today’s movie industry trend of replacing DVDs with Blu-rays, so it provides support for Blu-ray discs, too.
DumpHD is equipped with automatic BD+ removal which is possible due to the BDVM Debugger.
Other features of DumpHD include: supporting decryption of EVO and M2TS files, decrypting any ARF protection type, supporting every pack type of an EVO (including in-place decryption of ADV_PCKs, excluding Sequence Key Sections), supporting HD-DVDs for Standard / Advanced Content (not on the same disc) and usage of a key database to get the decryption keys or direct retrieval of the keys off the source disc.
DumpHD also performs automatic BD+ removal using the BDVM Debugger or manually, by supplying a correct Conversion Table.
The last version of DumpHD, 0.61, was launched in 2009, and it had its Key Database updated to version 1.4. Comments in entry lines were supported in the final release and the key database did not append wrong entry data to the title if correct entries followed the broken ones.
Compact and complex at the same time, DumpHD offers reliable HD-DVD and Blu-ray decryption and it creates the perfect backup without being hindered by AACS protection.
