MovieSnapshot 0.4
MovieSnapshot is a smart application creating thumbnail images out of videos.
MovieSnapshot is portable and it doesn’t require installation. Instead, you just need to keep it on your local disc or on any memory device and run it whenever it is necessary.
The application supports drag and drop file import, but unfortunately it can only process one file at a time.
What MovieSnapshot allows you to do is navigating a video file frame by frame, and capturing screenshots.
Next, you just need to specify the output folder and the file name. You can only create JPG images and you cannot jump to a specific frame by inputting the time position.
The last version of MovieSnapshot, 0.4, was released in 2004 and updated for DirectX 9. In spite of its limitations, this piece of software may still be useful to the average user looking for a simple way of getting a movie snapshot in the JPG format.
