MP3 Checker 1.08

Not sure why your MP3 files are corrupt? MP3 Checker can help you identify the issues with your files causing errors.

This simple app uses three methods for diagnosis: verifying MPEG Header Frames to detect corrupted MP3s, rule-based checks to spot fake MP3s, and cross-referencing for repeated MPEG audio frames to find looped files.

Main Features of MP3 Checker

Key features of MP3 Checker include fast scanning (typically under three seconds per file), pinpointing error locations, batch processing, drag-and-drop importing, MPEG info detection, the option to ignore minor errors, and updating ID3 tags for quicker rescans later.

Easy to Use and Efficient

MP3 Checker is designed to be easy to use, allowing you to drag and drop multiple files into the app at once for quick diagnosis. You can even scan files while they’re downloading, saving time in figuring out if they’re working properly.

Any files with errors can be moved to a "Quarantine" folder, which you can set up in the app’s settings.

MP3 Checker quickly shows errors in real-time, but it only supports MP3 files and doesn’t fix the issues it finds.

This tool is useful if you want to figure out what's wrong with your MP3s, but if you're looking for a solution to repair the errors, MP3 Repair Tool might be what you need.

This program can help fix corrupted MP3 files by repairing headers, syncing issues, and other common problems, making it a great complement to MP3 Checker.

Es recomendable utilizarlo junto a MP3 Repair Tool para saber el problema que tiene el archivo y cuantos frames estan mal para que con Repair Tool quitemos los frames defectuosos.

De esta forma es mas probable que el archivo no de problemas de reproducción.

Asked the program to scan my itunes folder and sub directories. It scanned through about 100+ folders, found no mp3s and promptly crashed.

Then asked it to scan a single artist folder with 10 different album categories (only 20 mp3s). It identified 1 bad track, which I have just played and verified ok, but marked a bad mp3 as good.

Unreliable results.
