ReStream 0.9
ReStream is a compact tool enabling you to change MPEG2 Elementary Stream options without re-encoding.
Some of the options you can modify using this software are matrices, tff-flags,
Sequence Header, User Data, GOP-flags, framerate, aspect ratio, resolution of the mpeg header, and pan-scan-info.
ReStream can handle manual matrices which is helpful if you need to fix faulty streams. Other actions you can perform are changing the nominal bitrate, removing user data from the stream, disguising streams to improve compatibility with several authoring programs, and correcting some other parts of a stream.
ReStream supports DVD and SVCD file formats and is compatible with Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and XP; the application has not been developed anymore since 2004.
The last version, 0.9.0, was improved with new options, such as changing progressive-sequence-flag and showing, adding and modifying User Data for every GOP or picture/field.
