TwoLAME 0.4
TwoLAME is a command-line tool that helps you improve the sound quality of VCD and SVCD files.
It is a fork of tooLAME, an optimized MP2 encoder.
The shared library included by TwoLAME is libtwolame, a thread-safe library whose API is similar to LAME’s.
The most important features of this free application are the easy porting due to its API (which is similar to that of LAME), having a build system based on Automake/libtool/pkgconfig and supporting a wide range of input files using libsndfile.
This application is recommended to advanced users, who know how to work with command-line software and who are interested in using advanced editing options.
TwoLAME uses TMPGEnc in order to improve sound quality and results are superior compared to TMPGEnc’s own audio encoding algorithms.
Changes in TwoLAME 0.3.12:
- Fixed 'inline' for the forthcoming gcc-4.3. thanks to Martin Michlmayr for patch.
