Windows Media Player Plus! is a compact and completely free plugin for Windows Media Player, which improves the user experience by adding extra features such as tag editing.
There are a variety of playback and interface enhancements that Windows Media Player Plus! offers.
Tag support includes Tag Editor Plus, an alternative for Windows Media Player’s Advanced Tag Editor.
The interface is enriched by better controls: you can add global hotkeys, which means you can control Windows Media Player from any other application.
Searching capabilities are improved with a real “find as you type” feature of the media library.
Other ways of offering library support are disabling group headers in the Library Pane, disc number support (showing disc numbers in the Track number column and asking Windows Media Player to use the disc numbers to sort tracks from an album) and bringing back the “Find in library” right-click option of older versions of Windows Media Player.
Regarding playback, Windows Media Player Plus! has a few interesting things to offer: party shuffle, restoring the last active playlist (including the exact item and the playback position), displaying currently played media in Windows Media Player’s title bar, options such as “stop after current” and “close after current”, offering the same features of the “What I’m listening to” plugin and the “Play Next” option when right-clicking a media item in the library.
Windows Media Player Plus! has been developed for Windows Media Player 11 and higher.
Version 2.1 of Windows Media Player Plus! is a maintenance release that primarily includes fixes for "Windows Media Player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled" error at Windows Media Player startup in the Spring Creators Update of Windows 10 and compatibility issue with Symantec Endpoint Protection software.
All things considered, installing Windows Media Player Plus! to your computer is totally worth it: it enhances your Windows Media Player user experience; it is lightweight, free and easy to install.

Windows Media Player Plus! 1.1
It's good, except for the problem that it does not restore media after you close and open the player. Even though i have it set for it to do so.
It does provide me with media info while it's playing. It enhances my searching for media in my player.
